BŽANY - HRADIŠTĚ

The diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of development of two merging villages, which form the centre of the village of Bžany in Teplice. The thesis aims to revive potential strong points, to find suitable development areas with regard to the ecology and economy of the village. The design was based on a thorough understanding of the existing state of the villages, their problems and potentials. The work thus focuses on the completion of the village square, the revival of the historic fortress, the redevelopment of the church forecourt, the addition of buildings and the creation of a unique inside backyard area.
