REVITALIZATION OF THE PREMISES OF THE FORMER HOP DRYER

This thesis deals with the revitalisation of the hop drying plant in Trnovany and the surrounding former mill. During the design process, care was taken to ensure that the new buildings and the newly created public space respected the original historical buildings in their proportions, massing and scale, while at the same time drawing on contemporary concepts of architecture. A restaurant with a beer microbrewery, a multifunctional hall, accommodation and a museum are proposed for the site.
