Alpine Hut Schwarzenstein

Theme of my diploma thesis is mountain hut in Alps – Südtirol (state border Austria – Italy) in 2923 meters above sea level. Designed object provides spaces for the accomodation of tourists and research station. Design process focuses on the use of renewable energy sources, stand-alone-systems (off-the-grid), difficulties of material transport (helicopter) and extreme weather conditions.
