MUNICIPAL LIBRARY JABLONEC

The task of the diploma thesis is the design of a new municipal library in Jablonec nad Nisou. At this time, the town library is located in the old town hall building but its capacity is no longer suitable. The selected plot is located in the part of the town where the biggest development is planned after the construction of a public transport terminal connecting tram, bus and individual transportation. The plot is defined by 5. května, Lipanská and Luční streets. The proposal also includes a connection to the Lužická Nisa, which is currently partially blocked under the existing bus station.
