Community centre with gallerry and info centre in Vimperk

This diploma thesis deals with the urban/architectural plan of a Vimperk's central area. The main focus of this thesis was given to a better cooperation between motor vehicle and a pedestrian infrastructure. Special attention was given to the use of quality materials, completion of the city mass, high greenery and also public space furniture. New functions of the city gallery with a community center, info-center, public toilets, housing, sport centre and commercial spaces were added to the area. The design originates in the overall city conception, historical connections and location hierarchy.
