A CULTURAL BUILDING IN VYSOČANY

The subject of this diploma thesis is the conversion of the industrial hall to a cultural institution. The building is located in the place of the former Praga factory, which is currently planned to be turn into the art district. I chose the art of new media as a theme for the conversion, because it is something that should not be missing in the art district living in the present. However, the result is rather a platform for cultural activities where the function/content of the units can be transformed over time, responding to the demand and needs of the environment.
