CONVERSION OF THE HOP-WAREHOUSE IN ŽATEC

Žatec town conservative area and zone is pursuing entering the UNESCO world heritage list. In the area of 38 ha, there are tens of objects used for hop processing. The complex of hop-growing industry buildings in Pražské předměstí (Prague suburbs) is unique in the world. These objects are not fulfilling their function anymore and are dilapidating. My thesis is focused on their analysis and seeks suitable functions that would potentially recycle the inner periphery of a specific location.
