Erasmus Exhibition

Living and working by Dunajska cesta

Nina Alexandra Karelina

Annotation

The area is shaping to the block and linear buildings. The urban composition is based on the intersection of two main streets Dunajska cesta and Topniška ulica (boundaries). The linear buildings create an acoustic barrier for the calm housing area. The new city build-up area complements the missing structure of the city and gives an opportunity to develop the surrounding area behind these streets. The quality of the urban environment depends on disability access and permeability of the area. The active ground floor, park, and multifunctional courtyard of the housing block set the character of the public and community space among program activities belong housing, administrative buildings, and parking house.

my key experience from erasmus

Slovenia is a beautiful country with mountains, near the sea. I lived in Ljubljana, a picturesque historic city. I enrolled in Erasmus because I wanted to achieve foreign experience. My stay enriched me in the professional, but especially the personal sphere. I recommend Erasmus to anyone who is not afraid to try to live in a country with a different language and try something new. Life abroad will make you independent, you will make a lot of new friends from different countries around the world. You will get to know the culture and you can travel around the country. Mainly, you will experience a different form of teaching and improve your language. I brought a lot of experiences from Erasmus, even though I was there only for a month and a half.
