Festival des Cabanes 2020, Annecy

The assignment of the summer semester project in 2020 at the Design Espace studio at the Université de Strasbourg, led by architect Francis Dupont, was the Festival des Cabanes, held annually in Annecy, a French lakeside town on the border of the Alps in Haute-Savoie. It is a construction of twelve "cabanes" (let´s say shelters) in various locations - mini-architecture in the form of wooden buildings, the teams compete for the implementation. Students of the last years of the fields of architecture, design or construction can take part under the auspices of an authorized architect, graduates under the same conditions, or architectural studios operating in practice.
