Maker Space

The conversion of the Křižík Power Plant in Holešovice represents the transformation of a historic industrial building into a living cultural and creative space. The design brings new energy to the building through exhibition spaces, creative workshops, a café, bar, gastro-provision and halls for auctions and educational activities. The high variability of the design allows for a wide range of uses and supports the creative community. The modifications were not limited to the interior - the surrounding area was also revitalised, where the small furnishings and materials used reflect the original technical function of the power station.
