Plasy - The Refectory

The former Plasy farmyard, nestled near Pilsen in the historic Plasy Monastery, emerges as a reimagined gateway between past and present. Originally one of the monastery’s three principal entrances, the Baroque structure now accommodates a boutique hotel and restaurant, exhibition spaces, and artisan studios within the farmyard. Each intervention preserves the medieval timber frames, while introducing lightweight “box-in-a-box” volumes that respect ceiling heights and spatial quirks inherited from the granary’s agricultural past.
