KOLÍN | NEAR THE STATION

This study focuses on the urban development near Kolín’s main train station, highlighting its citywide and regional significance. The aim is to improve connectivity and accessibility, while creating pleasant public spaces for rest and relaxation. The area lies between U křižovatky street, the railway, the chemical plant, and Havlíčkova street. The context also considers the area behind the railway, which currently serves several functions and could be included in future urban planning. The proposal includes a parking garage near the station, supporting both residential and office development. Additional park & ride parking is proposed behind the station.
