AQUAROOTS

Annotation

AQUAROOTS is a multifunctional structure designed to address both ecological and aesthetic needs within an urban environment. It collects water from the surrounding housing estate, filters it through a natural system, and stores it in a reservoir that helps mitigate the urban heat island effect. Beyond its environmental function, Aquaroots also serves as a sculptural element—an artwork that enhances the surrounding space and contributes to the overall quality of the urban landscape. It stands as a tribute to trees and their vital role in human life, offering them a supportive environment to thrive while allowing their natural processes to benefit the community.
