G59. The image of a house, a magnet, an attraction, a monument. Recognizable, memorable. You and I will know where we're going when we go there. The design responds to the current state of the building, which has been unused since 2008. The solution should support an existing function that the city itself has found - that is, its residents, and in this case mainly writers. At the same time, it responds to the values and problems of the locality. The proposal does not envisage demolition or reconstruction of G59, but both possible scenarios. The ideal situation is to support the community and cultural functions in the renovated laundry building, which will become indispensable for the city, and to achieve the preservation of the building with its urban layout.
