Zubrnice - Ecovillage house

At the heart of the project is the creation of an eco-village in a beautiful and historically significant rural landscape, located in the Mill Valley in Zubrnice. The plan offers solutions for establishing a vibrant and communal living environment where ecological lifestyles, traditional architecture, and the preservation of cultural heritage are intertwined. The conceptual plan for the eco-village is based on increasing local functions and fostering community in a way that supports and sustains the area’s museum activities. The housing solution intended for permanent residence in the eco-village is based on a modular unit that can be joined into semi-detached houses, thus aligning with the scale and layout of historical outbuildings and enriching the existing courtyard typologies.
