Choteč: A Shared Vision for Development

The shared vision for the municipality of Choteč is based on analyses that revealed key relationships between the built-up area and the surrounding landscape, highlighting both conflicts and opportunities for future development. The proposed vision respects the character of the area and responds to current local challenges. The concept focuses on the sensitive development of the built-up area, strengthening points of interest and linking them to the landscape through a functional network of paths. Emphasis is placed on erosion control and improving water management. An important part of the proposal is also the care for the river floodplain and support for biodiversity, including the protection of natural habitats and strengthening the stability of the area.
