Residential housing in Nový Knín
Annotation
Nový knín is a small town with about 2100 inhabitants. The goal was to close the gap at the historic part of the city and offer the city quality housing. Contemporary architecture was created in the historical environment, which respects its historical surroundings and provokes the city to its further development. The result of my design is a residential housing with a quiet garden along the river Kocába. The whole project consists of 5 houses with a common underground garage and four floors above ground. On the ground floor of each house there are technical rooms, warehouses and smaller apartments with a layout of 2 + kk. On the next floors there are more spacious apartments with 4 + kk and 5 + kk with a gallery. In total, the project offers 21 apartments.
