Cvak is a fruit fly trap primarily designed for the Urbalive vermicomposter from Plastia. Thanks to it's letter c shape it can be easily snapped onto the composter leg. However, it can also work as a separate element. It consists of two parts, which are interconnected by a living hinge. This facilitates manipulation, prevents loss of one of the parts and allows the entire product to be made in one mold. The user pours vinegar or another medium attracting fruit flies into the catcher's container and closes it with a lid with holes through which the flies then fly into the catcher.
