Railway station Bubny has a rich history. During the Second World War, transports for Terezín left from here. Altogether, tens of thousands of Jewish people were deported from this place. An urban study was created and approved for Bubny, which also includes moving the current station to the south and transforming the original station building into a museum. The immediate surroundings will become a public space, which, together with the Museum of Silence and the Gate of no return, will be a memorial of these painful events of our history. The main idea of the concept is loss and its residue. An imprint that will remain as a reminder of something that used to be and that we have lost.
