Apartment Building No.13
An apartment building No. 13 stands on a newly created square and is particularly attractive with its dominant tower on the corner and its unusual green facade. However, in an exposed location, the house offers surprisingly intimate accommodation. The striking facade facing the square is mirrored into the private courtyard, but the loggias turn into semi-private galleries. They provide entrances to apartments, secondary lighting, and the possibility of cross ventilation. The hidden privilege of house No. 13 is the communication tower inserted between the tracts of the apartment building, formed by monolithic stairs revolving around an elevator shaft clad in copper. Thus apartment building No. 13 accommodates and supports an important node in the historical context of Pilsen.
