REVITALIZATION OF MALEŠICE CHATEAU WITH FARM YARD

The site lays in the old town centre of Malešice, a district within Prague 10. It is characterised by the large courtyard and the old chateau, which is the namesake of the project. It is surrounded by quiet residential roads and a small community park. This project revolves around two core principles: regenerating a historically important feature of the neighbourhood and creating a space for both the wider community and specific facilities aimed at bettering quality of life for marginalised groups within, such as physically disabled and low-functioning autistic people. As the project addresses numerous complex needs at once, multiple solutions are found - for example the creation of both a public communal square and a quiet, semi-private garden space for residents.
