City Palace

The Vrchlické sady and the New Terminal Hall of the Main Railway Station are situated in the center of Prague; however, these locations currently resemble the outskirts of the city.The basic solution to this problem in my proposal is to transform the highway into Wilson Boulevard with a tree line, tram and cycle lanhe lanes of the original highway are being moved to Legerova Street, thereby creating a pedestrian zone in the southern part of Wilson Boulevard. The highway is laid to the intersection U Bulhara. All socially uncontrolled spaces are eliminated. On the roof of the check-in hall, a City Palace is proposed with public, commercial, administrative, and residential functions. Care is provided for the Vrchlického sady, where cluttered spaces are removed with the help of new buildings.
