CLIMBER_ADRENALIN

In LS 2025, I designed a family house that is part of a linear city above the Vltava River (Prague-Smíchov). My design is inspired by an obsession with adrenaline and is intened for climbers. The structure consists of a family house and two massive sculptural objects that defy the regularity of the 'grid'. Behind their sharp edges are hidden climbing walls. Together, these three buildings create a dynamic public space reminiscent of a crevice. In contrast to the crevice is the glazed western facade (facing Strakonická Street), which brings natural light into all living spaces. Its delicate surface is interrupted by a staircase that extends above the water surface. The dynamic shape of the crevice creates a series of interesting climbing spots while also concealing extensive living spaces.
