Support for Polycentric Regional Development

Main objectives of the project: critical analysis of the polycentric concept and its application in the regions of the Czech Republic identification and analysis of existing / potential growth zones based on functional cooperation between urban centres delieation of intermediate areas between the integrated settlement systems assessment of regional disparities interpretation of logics and spatial hierarchy in Czech settlement system better focusing of regional policy instruments aimed at inetgration and growth or sustainable functional deal between core and peripheral areas proposals for instruments to enhance polycentric development on national and regional levels, respecting European structures.
