What is coronavirus?
The term coronavirus is used for any virus belonging to the subfamily Coronaviridae. It is an aggregate term for the four families of viruses that cause disease in animals and humans with varying degrees of severity. It can cause common problems such as colds, coughs, breathing difficulties, temperatures. But also lethal diseases such as breathing disease called Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) or MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome).
How is the coronavirus trensmitted?
Coronavirus is transmitted from person to person after close contact, which lasts for a long time. It is a so-called droplet infection that is transmitted by air. Most often affects the lining of the upper and lower respiratory tract. The incubation period is one week to fourteen days. After a week of being infected, the disease manifests itself as a continuous fever. They may be accompanied by discomfort, pain in the joints and muscles, and symptoms of cough soon occur.
A flu-like illness can be very dangerous especially for people with a weakened organism. It does not appear immediately, but after 7-14 days. Upon arrival from the risk area, wear a veil, isolation for 7 days is recommended, in which symptoms of respiratory disease should occur, ie shortness of breath, cough, temperature.
