The 11th year of the free lecture series organized by the Department of Architectural Conservation of the CTU in Prague and the Institute of Art History in cooperation with the Czech National Committee ICOMOS led by prof. Václav Girsa.

MgA. Ales Lapka, MgA. Petr Kolar - ADR s.r.o. Author duo, who worked on a number of remarkable and awarded projects in the Czech Republic. The subject of the lecture by architect Aleš Lapka will be an introduction to the remarkable renovation of the monastery garden in Broumov.

Beyond Eternity – Architecture Facing the Impermanence

This visually captivating documentary explores architecture in the context of climate change, resource scarcity, the circular economy, or the refugee crisis. Conceived as a visit to an architectural triennial in the United Arab Emirates, the film features speeches by a number of international artists and architects in addition to a Nigerian curator. This inspiring cinematic meditation encourages pause and reflection on where architecture, and the world in general, is headed. Or have we gone too far?
