Just like last year, this year our faculty joins the Open House Prague festival, which invites visitors to visit normally inaccessible buildings and spaces in 73 places in Prague.
This year's motto is "Architecture for all" and a novelty will be a special tour of the faculty building for blind visitors, for which a new haptic model of the building printed on a 3D printer will be created and haptic floor plans will also be available to blind visitors.
Open House Prague, in cooperation with the Světluška Endowment Fund, is preparing a guided tour for blind visitors, which begins on Saturday 5. 9. 2020 at 10 am.
As part of the festival, thirty-minute guided guided tours will be prepared for visitors, which we will always start in every hour on the hour from 10 am. Waiting for a tour can be made more enjoyable by watching documents about well-known architects who work at the faculty.
Open House Prague is part of the international network of Open House Worldwide festivals, which take place in 46 cities around the world. You can find a detailed program on the festival website.
