The Deparment of Landscape Architecture, together with the Louny City Gallery invite you to the exhibition Landscape Architecture, which presents the work of students of the study program Landscape Architecture of the FA CTU. Not only the work of ZAN studios, but also studio and diploma projects and models will be on display.
KRAJINÁŘSKÁ ARCHITEKTURA (opening 13.5., duration 14.5. – 13.6.2021), the youngest branch of architecture today, offers Dialogues with Landscape. The curators of the exhbition Hana Špalková and Vladimír Sitta bring a show of work by students of landscape architecture of the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University in Prague. More than five years have passed since the landscape architecture industry was founded. The works show a wide range of students, a disciplinary interplay between architecture, art and the natural sciences. Despite their short duration, students can boast achievements not only on the national but also internationally. In addition to projects that deal with the diseased Czech landscape, there are projects that deal with energy sustainability, projects looking for an expression for a new type of public space, for places without the tyranny of individual car transport. In addition to modest works that celebrate the beauty of a tree or stone, there are projects, dealing with water in the landscape as well as visions related to the future.
