From 29 September to 1 October, Memory of the Nation is organizing a festival dedicated to all those who care about freedom.
Young popular musicians and songwriters who composed in spite of the communist regime will meet on one stage at Strahov Stadium. During the three days of the festival, Barbora Poláková, Vladimír Merta, Lenka Dusilová, Thom Artway, Igor Orozovič and Jaroslav Hutka will perform at the event. In addition to the concerts, the festival programme is based on discussions and screenings, which will bring together guests from different spheres and generations. Invitations have been accepted from slammers, student activists, as well as historians and artists dedicated to the 20th century, such as Eduard Stehlík, Václav Marhoul or Adam Drda. For the youngest visitors there is an adventure game for the mysterious creatures of Pižďuchy.
The programme will include an exhibition of works by FA students entitled Vision of Strahov. Associate professor Jiří Klokočka from the Department of Urban Design will take part in the debate of the same name on 29 September from 17.00 to 18.50.
Entry is voluntary. A detailed programme for all generations is available at festival.pametnaroda.cz.
