Do post-war buildings have a place in our history? The new exhibition in the Jaroslava Fragnera Gallery focuses on the transformation of Prague buildings from 1945 to 1989. How do we protect post-war buildings in Prague and how can we adapt them to the present so that they do not lose their artistic qualities? The exhibition opens on September 29 and will last until November 26, 2023. During this period, visitors are invited to explore original plans and perspectives, photos, and physical artifacts from some of Prague's listed buildings, as well as buildings that would deserve protection. The exhibition focuses primarily on the history and current state of the Prague metro stations, but also includes examples of several important reconstructions of post-war architecture.
The accompanying program will be published on social networks.
