RNDr. Jiří Šrubař, Ph.D.

Lecturer at the Department of Load-Bearing Structures.


He graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University, where he earned his Ph.D. in 2010. He has been affiliated with the Faculty of Architecture since 2002. He is the guarantor and lecturer of the courses Mathematics and Design Computing III, and also teaches Descriptive Geometry I, II and Digital Imaging I.

Professionally, he focuses on pedagogy and education in mathematics and related disciplines. He is the author of numerous educational texts and has long collaborated with the science textbook publisher Prometheus. From 2008 to 2018, he was a member of the board of trustees of the educational non-profit organization Erudis.

From 2017 to 2022, he served in the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Architecture, where he held the position of Chair of the Economic Committee and, from 2020, Vice-Chair of the Senate. From 2017 to 2022, he also represented the faculty in the CTU Academic Senate, where he served as Chair of the Committee for Educational Affairs from 2018.

Since 2022, he has been serving as Vice-Dean for Education at the Faculty of Architecture.
