CITY OPAVA - OPAVA RIVER

The topic of the thesis is the surroundings of the Opava River. The area is located in the length of its course on the area of the cadastral territory of the city of the same name, Opava. The goal of this diploma project is to draft a vision that will confirm the privileged position of the landscape around the Opava River for the city Opava. A vision whose principles are set to mitigate the effects of natural disasters, to restore the natural functions of the river landscape, to strengthen pedestrian and bicycle traffic, and to create a functional public area of the city around the river and its recreation.
