Annotation
The bachelor's thesis is based on a study of two civic buildings called Drobenka. These buildings aim to respond to the current challenges of the urban environment while respecting the historical value of the site. The first structure is an extension of the municipal office, designed to meet the current needs for administrative capacity, specifically for the building authority and housing management. The second building is a clubhouse, intended to strengthen the community and cultural life of the local youth and to support the city's identity in general. Drobenka represents two small structures with a big ambition. They seek to demonstrate how well-designed and well-placed buildings can become inconspicuous yet crucial elements of a vibrant and functioning urban fabric.
