The subject of the bachelor thesis is the development of a compact and user-friendly system for the digitization of analogue film via a camera. The whole system is designed for 3D printing, which reduces production costs and thus allows for fast personalization. The design includes a sliding mechanism for easy film handling, interchangeable holders for different types of film and a light-insulated tube that ensures a precise connection to the camera lens. In this way, consistent scan quality can be achieved regardless of ambient light conditions, while at the same time maintaining the correct focusing distance. This work includes market analysis, design development and prototype testing.
