Polytechnic Station Třešňovka, Nové Město nad Metují

The new building of the Polytechnic Station in Nové Město nad Metují expands the local facilities of educational institutions. The structure is situated within a former military complex. The massing of the building follows the existing construction lines and responds to their height; however, the third floor is designed as a lightweight element, as it is made as a greenhouse. The building is located in a cherry orchard near Kasárenská Street. It has three floors and houses classrooms for technical, IT, and natural science subjects. The bachelor thesis develops the technical documentation for this building and its modifications in comparison to the previously prepared project study.
