Senior Housing and Daycare Centre

The home for the elderly and the day care center are loceted in a newly designed area laying between the central part of the city Písek and one of its peripheral quarters, previously the village of Hradiště. The building combines multiple functions orienten towards the oldest generations of residents. Primarily it consists of housing in the form of separate studio apartments and a day care center. Both of these main functions use the provided additional services, to prolong autonomy in living. These services include a cafeteria, a doctor's office, a care service or a laundry service. For the same reason, the building is designed in a way that allows to remain in the independent apartments in case of gradual or sudden loss of mobility.
