The task " Use of oral elements (moss) in interior and furnishing" is wide. I chose implementation of the moss to the concrete wall and incorporated seating. Goal of this project is to nd use for live moss instead of the stabiliezed one and with it bring part of nature to the interior. Moss can keep a lot of water and together with photosynthesis has a great potential to create pleasant enviroment and improve the quality of air. Futhermore moss can indicate the quality of air itself. If it is treated well (the whole process of delivering of moisture and nutrients may be automatic and optimized) signs of brownishing might be indicating bad quality of air. Moss receives nutrients and water with its whole body (roots are there just to keep it in the place) so it happens with potentialy dangerous substances too. There are commonly used green walls in interiors nowadays which affects the air quality more than moss could ever do but aside from beeing very expensive. They have higher requirements for the lightning, construction of the frameworks or walls, soil and irrigation. Therefore they cannot be used in restaurants for instance, where intimate lightning is required. Whole project is inspired by the process of nature consuming structures made by us. In contrast with the nature where cold and edgy structures made of conrete are. They are disrupted with cracks including the moss inside of them. Project should also point that nature will always find its way and easily burry everything we built. We should not fight it but rather use it everywhere we can. Its presence affects not only the enviroment and air but most importantly psychical condition and well-being of all mankinds.
