Pediatric Aid

The Bachelor thesis deals with the production of an orthosis for the treatment of positional plagiocephalus. This tool is made using 3D printing technology with an emphasis on user comfort and in accordance with ergonomic requirements based on head deformation values. The idea of the project was to create a helmet concept with the help of new technologies and materials so that the used materials meet the technical standards in a normal environment. At the same time, the concept is enriched with graphics that are designed to give a playful impression on a child's head.
