Transformation of Former Military Courtyard in Karlin

The proposal should keep the atmosphere of urban oasis by combining regulated and creative energy, which are both present in the courtyard, into one synergy. As an inspiration for the form of this kind of oasis I chose zen stone garden, and as a program I chose an outdoor gallery, as an common interface of rules and testing the rules, as an interface between Karlín studios and palace of justice. In the whole space there is an all-pervading linear movement of a river stream, that flows around "stones" that are movable and serve as stages for art exhibitions.
