Reception centre for parents with childern and drop in centre

The project looks into design of a shelter house for parents with children and a drop in centre, which suitably supplements the shelter house itself. Both buildings function as islands of safety; their mission is based on helping people in tough situation. Basic principle is a creation of pleasant environment for different groups of clients. The environment should be easily adoptable and should not distinguish them from society – on the contrary, it should help them to balance their lives. Project’s site is located on interesting place near Podolské schody in Prague. Contrast of a different scale of development, a slope and an incomplete block of buildings make the main characteristics of the place.
