CHILDFRIENDLY SOUTH TOWN - INTEGRATION OF PLAY INTO THE PUBLIC SPACE

The master thesis is divided in two main parts. The first 'theoretical-analytical' one presents the context of child-friendly urban planning. The second 'proposal part' presents the established Childfriendly strategy for the studied area of the Czech housing estate - Prague's South Town. The application of the set childfriendly parameters of the strategy is presented on a specific case design of a typical area of public space of the studied housing estate. The thesis moves from the conceptual level of the solution to the design of the specific area, fulfilling the stated objectives of the thesis.
