Elementary school Smíchov

The objective of the diploma thesis is an architectural study of a primary and secondary school in a newly developing area next to the Smichov railway station in Prague – Smichov. The school contains 27 classrooms, respectively 810 students, and is situated on the western part of the site, which is located by Nadrazni street. Along with the elementary school a kindergarten school has been designed as well. The goal of the design was to create a modern, inviting and inspiring environment for students with the emphasis on rich social life within the school.
