Apartment Building

The project solves a completion of blank spaces at site on the former periphery in Praha 5, Košíře. My bachelor's project solves residential building situated at the west side of the site. Position at the corner of the street determines its main goal to compensate contrast between current buildings and planned ones. It solves the problem with height articulation expressed by its recessive storey. The building is divided into three height parts. It has five storeys oriented to the main street, Vrchlického street, which is loud and busy. On the other side, it has three storeys oriented to the quiet and peaceful Hlaváčkova street. Another part of project is back yard shared with neighbouring building. Designed garages are located on the opposite site (Hlaváčkova street) and are planned for all six planned buildings.
