AIRPORT FURNITURE

I have looked at the deficiencies of the equipment at the airport according to the used materials, ergonomics, appearance and the possibility to connect to the electricity or the internet network. Another form of information was enriched by a questionaire designed for passengers and by the interview about future furniture requirements at Václav Havel Airport at Prague. I decided to look at this topic from a different angle - from the point of child view or from the point of the person who is flying for the first time. The amazing experience when we are soaring up, the window views to the cloudy field and the relief when we safely land on the ground. My main inspiration became from the clouds. Their shape makes people feel lightly comfortable and safe. Their dull colors also appeared in the design itself - from pale blue, through azure to the color of the night sky. Another point of my work was the incorporation of modern trend - a lightweight construction design and application that uses the Smart tracking system to control the airport's premises, and at the same time it can help users show where they can find free seats.
