Písek - Na Trubách stream
Annotation
A proposal dealing with the drainage of a stream, which in the past flowed from ponds in the Písek Mountains and ended in a ditch along the city walls. Later, the stream was piped and on the site of the former moat is currently located Palackého sady, built in the 1930s, thanks in large part to the then regional governor Josef Edvard Maschke. The concept is based on the drainage of the stream according to the maps of the stable cadastre from 1842. The restoration of the stream is to contribute to the development of the blue-green infrastructure in the city and the use of rainwater. The water that rains on the territory will not only end up in the sewerage system, but will be used as irrigation not only for Palackého sady or Na Trubách park.
