The Last Journey

Expansion of the Hostivař cemetery and preservation of its strong motif in the form of four squares. I propose a crematorium, a hall of reconciliation, columbariums and a connection of important historical places and events, such as memorials to the fallen during the Second World War. One thing the last journeys of the deceased have in common - they should be dignified. Therefore, I propose a place for the last farewell in the form of accompanying the deceased to cremation, during which the coffin is carried from the Hall of Reconciliation to the crematorium. Instead of traditional cremation, gentler aquamation is proposed.
