My project is a vision of a building made with living materials, modified by the CRISPR method and gene synthesis, especially mycelium. The small ecosystem is completed with modified plants and microbiomes. My proposal is to build a gallery/exhibition space, but this method could be used to create a house or group of houses of any size, shape and function. Individual houses could be connected by a system of hyphae, or the so-called wood wide web.
