Step to stop

Annotation
At first glance, it's just stairs. Wooden, supported by steel, suspended loosely between heaven and earth. They enter the space quietly, unobtrusively - and yet crucially. They lead up and down, but more than that: they lead to a stop. They are not just a path, they are a place. A place where you can sit, look around, stay. Where the view gets time, and silence gets space.
A view of the amphitheatre opens up - a living scene that never ends. That's why wood plays a major role here. It lets the water flow, the light pass through, the landscape breathe. Perhaps one day a tree will sit on the bench - lean its branch, stay and become part of it.
These stairs serve not only movement, but also presence. And perhaps that is why they lead further than they seem.
