TÁBOR PRISON

The thesis deals with the design of a male prison with security in the locality of the former airport Všechov near the town of Tábor. The design emphasizes the creation of an environment that will have a positive effect on the mentality of the prisoners, but at the same time will be a safe and friendly environment for the employees who work there. An important aspect of the overall design is also the possible differentiation of the prisoners, which has a beneficial effect in their correction. In ideas, the Czech prison system relies on new prison systems and modern international trends in this sector rather than on the existing system.
