Faculty of Architecture of CTU in Prague celebrates 45 years

The Dean of the Faculty of Architecture of the CTU in Prague, Ladislav Lábus, would like to invite all members of the academic community, graduates of the Faculty and fans of architecture to the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the re-establishment of the independent Faculty, which will take place on Wednesday 24 November 2021 at 3.30 pm in the Bethlehem Chapel on Bethlehem Square in Prague 1.

Program of the event:

3.30 —5.00 pm

  • Ceremonial assembly of the academic community in Bethlehem Chapel (moderated by Petr Vacek)
  • Musical-theatre performance by Studio Ypsilon
  • Presentation of Felber Medals, CTU Medals and CTU FA Medals Launch of Vladimír Šlapeta's publication Memories and Notes (published on the occasion of the anniversary of teaching architecture at the CTU in Prague 1920—2020)

5.00 pm

  • Refreshments in the foyer and Lapidarium of the Bethlehem Chapel

7.00 pm

  • Opening of the exhibition FA ČVUT 1976—2021 in the Jaroslav Fragner Gallery with the launch of the book Alma mater today. Architecture Today. 45 years of FA CTU in Prague
  • Opening of the exhibition on the 25th anniversary of the Urban Design Award

The celebration will take place in compliance with current anti-epidemic measures.
